Here are a few of our special programs coming up in the weeks ahead:

Rise and Shine Library Time - Thursday, March 14 @ 9 AM
If you are a patron who is 60 +, the library is open an hour earlier just for you on the second Thursday of each month. Come and enjoy coffee, donuts and all the regular services offered at the library, without the hustle and bustle of the noisy crowd. 

Make Your Own Spring Wreath - Wednesday, March 20 @ 6:30 PM
Sign up to make your own spring wreath with our guest instructor, Mary Galluppi.  Cost is $10 and all materials are included.  Please Register if interested.  Registration

Book Talks with Dr. Aupperle - Friday, March 22 @ 10:30 AM
Join Dr. Jack Aupperle for an educational and entertaining book review.  This months selection will be James Madison by Richard Brookhiser.

Movie Night - Thursday, March 28 @ 6:30 PM
Featuring In the time of the Butterflies, part of CCAC's One College, One Community Reads, which will be shown in the Library Program Room.  Light refreshments will be provided.  

Spring Wise Walk - Begins April 3 @ 9 AM at the Library
Plan to attend this short introduction to the program. Each Wednesday after, the group will meet at 9:30 AM at the Children's Playground parking lot in  South Park and walk along Corrigan Drive.  Call the library if you need more details - 412-655-2424.  Please Register. 

Discover Medicare Seminar - Thursdays, March 26, April 30 and May 26 from 6-7:30 PM
Join Susanne Snyder from Insurance Services LLC, for an informative Medicare seminar, explaining how it works and how it affects you including:
  • Medicare Parts A & B
  • Prescription Drug Coverage
  • Medicare Extra Help Programs
  • Types of Medicare Supplements

Informative Fraud Presentation - Wednesday, April 3 @ 2PM
This free program is being offered by the Better Business Bureau to assist in recognizing and resisting fraudulent offerings and possible scams. If you would like more information on how to prevent becoming a victim, please plan to attend this program. Registration Requeste

Identity Theft Prevention Presentation - Wednesday, May 1 @ 2PM
You're invited to this complimentary identity theft prevention presentation, presented by the Better Business Bureau.  Please Register.

Patriotic Star Wreath Fundraiser - Wednesday, May 22 from 6-8 PM
Hosted by Gypsy Artistry to benefit the library.  Tikcets are $30 plus tax, and are to be purchased online directly through the Gypsy Artistry website:
